I continue to enjoy my rugby with the Toulon Rugby Club. The club is enjoying being top of the table
in the second division with the aim to gain promotion into the French top 14 competition. The club has just
signed Victor Matfield which will add to the international make up of the team. Playing on the same team with
players such as Andrew Mehretens makes it really enjoyable rugby for us all. The family are well and truly settled on the French Rivera and we are enjoying all that the area offers. We are taking full advantage of living in
France but I do miss a great cup of coffee!

I am keeping in touch with the rugby Super 14 competition and of course I have
a keen interest in the Brumbies and it was great to read that Stirling Mortlock has
committed to Australian rugby through to 2010. The Brumbies are fielding a
young team this year but they continue to play courageously and I particularly
enjoy watching their games.
